I’ve had this sitting around, and after painting a ton of Fieldstone in grayscale, I needed a changeup. So I glued together the casts, slapped some paint on, did a couple washes, and took pics!!!
I think I love this building.
Below is a gallery of each section!
This is painted with a Deep Brown Base. It was drybrushed with a light off white. The wood was painted the same Swiss Chocolate Brown, and then lightly wet-brushed with brown to bring out some definition. The walls were brown-washed. The floor was black-washed. The stone floor is black, with a generous light gray dry-brush, and brown-washed as well.
I placed the roof on a layer of cereal box cardboard, and then peeled off a layer of it to reduce its height. It’s painted brown to cover it.
