Folks, I am writing this post to share with you how I am changing my eBay listings. The listings are somewhat limited on eBay when it comes to gathering meaningful information about what people like and what colors are the best match for a building.
Some of this is intuitive, but sometimes it's just not.
In order to meaningfully share what color scheme's are actually available to purchase instead of offering the option to buy a different color in the listing itself, I have decided that each new color scheme for each building will get a listing. This is important for ME to manage my priorities about what to restock, and also guides my weekly & monthly tasks so I can continue to restock popular listings as quickly as possible.
Toward that end; when you see an eBay listing that has 0 stock, that now just means the color that building is painted is out of stock, but there may be a listing of that building in another color.
If you want the one that is not in stock you may ALWAYS email me on the ebay listing. Or here, my email is daboss@thegoblintinker.com. I will paint it, post the pics and listing on eBay and mail you the link to the listing, violla! Easy. It can take anywhere from 7-14 days to cycle through my current orders to see yours painted and then listed. You will be informed of you email me.
This is the first time in 3 years that I've been forced to manage more of my time producing stock to list because it's....um... sold out. It's exciting. Very. It is also a bit humbling.
However, I am STILL producing new models and offerings as well. Several ideas; projects and prototypes are posted here to this blog on a monthly or weekly basis. I want to stress that I am ALWAYS looking for YOUR input on what you want to see on your table top, so I can make it and... be the first to market. *grin*
